Shelving Unit

This is a shelving unit I built and then transported to Perpignan, France. The design is simply in concept but complex in execution with subtle details that I'm proud of. The sub-structure is made of powder-coated steel and the timber elements are Ash stained black. The cabinet was put into the bottom right to maintain the symmetry of the television in the top left. Its a bi-fold door system made with hardware I made myself, due to the lack of availability, bulkiness and massive cost of available bi-fold systems. Overall, I find the look of the piece very pleasing and I was delighted to be involved in the project.
